The festival, which will last 8 days, will include a series of lectures, talks, demonstrations of texts, scenography, audio tracks created by teams of students in the laboratory, and the resulting performances in the format of street theater. Students participating in the lab will be invited to reflect on the history and poetics of everyday life, engaging the space of the city in a dialog.

Context
Birth of poetry from the spirit of everyday life (Changing the focus of attention, the optics of looking at the world from the everyday to the poetic), history (Personal, national, language, city, cultural, etc.).
Visual theme:
Antique shop (Each team will be given by lot one antique object of large size,
a closet, a bed, a mirror, a barrel, etc., and several small ones: a candlestick, a box,
a doll, a teapot, an umbrella, etc.).
Laboratory format

    Team Distribution
    Participants will be divided into teams in such a way that the number of people of a certain specialization in all teams will be approximately equal. Then teams will begin work on creating a work in the street theater format.

    Themed days
    Each day of the laboratory will be devoted to a certain aspect of the theater; at the beginning of the day there will be a lecture from a theater professional, after which the teams will go to work on this aspect.

    Mentor Support
    The lecturer will be on hand as a mentor to help teams overcome stagnation and obstacles that have appeared in their work.

    Freedom of choice
    Each of the aspects can be continued on any day (not necessarily only on the profile day), the allocation of time between tasks, performance form and themes is in the hands of the teams.

    Team Performances
    On the last day of the festival, each of the teams will show a short performance (or other form of product), which can then be presented at other festivals, finalized, turned into a full-fledged theatrical product and shown at the next festival.

    Exhibition
    The results of the teams' work will form an exhibition consisting of scenography, music, and texts, which will remain on the festival site for another month.
Space
Each team will be assigned a space for rehearsal, discussion.
Materials
Each team will be able to obtain the necessary materials to create scenography and costumes.
Sound recording
Each team will be given access to a recording studio.
Mentors
During the teams' work, the lecturer who led the workshop will always be on hand if needed.

During the whole festival the participants will have the opportunity to have a snack and coffee.

Exciting workshops and theater games will guide you through the process of creating a theatrical product from the very beginning to the very end. You will understand how better to work with space, where the script comes from, how sound is born, feel the rhythm, and immerse yourself in the acting and directing work.

First day
Participants will get to know each other, participate in team building trainings, get acquainted with the plans for the next days. There will be a practically oriented lecture on outdoor theater, its specifics, pitfalls and advantages by Markas Liberman. The mood is free, elevated.
11:30-17:00
Fourth day:
The fourth day will be devoted to the creation of the visual image of the performance (costumes, scenery). There will be lecture dedicated to how to work with space, with the viewer, how to properly arrange props so that the idea, space and visual resonate held by a creative duo IevaKrish. Then the teams will work on the creation of scenography and costumes, using the vintage objects and materials they choose themselves. Scenery and costumes will be presented at the end of the day.
The mood is working, focused.

Fifth day:
The fifth day is dedicated to creating a soundtrack of the performance (Using both pre-recorded sounds and sounds made by performers). At the beginning of the day there will be a lecture introducing the history and concept of music, the role of rhythm in music and theater, theoretical and practical introduction to various programs for creating music. (You must have a laptop with you) by Antanas Jasenka. During the day each team will have the opportunity to use a studio to record some sounds. At the end of the day, an audio track from each team will be presented.

Timeline (2024)
Second day
Participants will be distributed among the teams, will
consistently participate in theatrical games led by Marija Baranauskaite, in which they will enter the space of the game, get to know each other better, will feel and understand the syncretism and continuity of theatrical action, the emphasis of training is not on the result, but on the process. Then there will be a draw for teams and vintage objects. The mood of the day is optimistic, elevated, relaxed and fun.

Seventh day:
The seventh day is devoted to putting all the parts together, rehearsals. It starts with a lecture on putting everything together, including examples of how it happens, returning to the original idea, establishing a connection between what was planned and what happened led by Paulius Ignatavičius. During the course of the day, the teams will combine all their disparate performances into a single canvas. At the end of the day, each team will show an interim result and there will be a final discussion of the works before the final show.
There's no time to mood.

Third day
The third day will be devoted to the creation of texts (script, plot, not necessarily the lines to be played) for future performances. There will be a lection dedicated to how and where to begin work on creating a text, what are the rules and methods for composing a script held by Birutė Kapustinskaitė. Then during the day participants will work on the script. At the end of the day, the teams will present their scripts, have a short discussion, reflection and discuss plans for tomorrow.
The mood of the day is focused.

Sixth day:
The sixth day is dedicated to the craft of performance.
It will start with a lecture on acting - directing, concentrated immersion in performance creation by Agnius Jankevicius. On this day, teams will try for the first time to combine everything previously created into a single work.
The main focus will be on specific acting and directing parts.
As a result the combined product will be performed by the actors (those participants who have taken such a role).
The mood is slightly elevated, the most challenging days are ahead.

Eighth day:
The eighth day starts with final rehearsals. After lunch there will be a final show of works shown to the audience and jury (Lecturers, who led MC), discussion of the results of the work done, reflection of the past days of the festival, discussion of plans for the future, after-party.
Finally it's time to to relax and have a peaceful talk. But that's in the evening, before then it will take a lot of work.

After completing his Master’s degree in Art History, during which Liberman explored theories of the psychology of the body and the environment through the lens of circus, Liberman decided to delve into the practical side of circus and began collaborating with Lithuanian contemporary circus artists. Liberman finished studies at the Ecole Philippe Gaulier clown school, an international clowning school in Paris, and works as a freelance creator and educator.

Lectors
Marija completed her studies in contemporary dance at LMTA and later became the first Lithuanian who has completed clown theatre studies at the international Philippe Gaulier clown school. She is an actor of organisation Red Noses Clowndoctors, former organisation’s artistic director (2018−2020). Marija’s practice is oriented towards the non-human element in contemporary circus, she works as a professional performer and artist.
Marija Baranauskaitė Liberman
Dancer and choreographer Krisjanis completed his studies at Latvian Academy of Culture (2011) and P.A.R.T.S. (2014). Then received his master’s degree in scenography from the Latvian Academy of Arts (2018). He is a member of the duo IevaKrish and together with Ieva Gaurilčikaitė-Sants (LT/LV) he creates performances focusing on the tactile communication of space and rhythm and contemporary interpretation of traditional Baltic polyphonic singing.

Antanas started his creative career as a composer writing concert pieces for acoustic instruments. The composer participated in collective sound projects and collaborations with various sound, visual artists and writers. His works are performed at Lithuanian contemporary music festivals, as well as abroad. He has presented radio programs on electronic music, and designed sound environments for theatre productions. Since 2008 he is a member of the Diissc Orchestra project.

Completed directing bachelor’s and master’s studies at the LMTA. His debut performance "Užribis" (2001) based on Viktor Pelevin’s " Blue Lantern " was awarded at the Setkání/Encounter festival. While working as director, A. Jankevičius created almost four dozen plays in various Lithuanian theaters, actively participates in theater forums, actions and festivals, organizes readings of plays. His performances were shown in In many countries around the world.

Birutė completed her studies in film dramaturgy at the LMTA in 2013, in 2015 she graduated from Vilnius University with a Master's degree in Intermedia Literature. She actively presents her work at international workshops, festivals and conferences. Currently, she is the head of the Film Dramaturgy course at the LMTA, teaches at Vilnius University and works on film and theatre projects. In 2018, she won the Golden Stage Cross for Best Playwright for her play Terapijos.

Paulius completed Bachelor and Master’s degree at LMTA as director. He was awarded a Doctor of Arts degree in 2023. He has worked as director and actor at the Lithuanian National Drama Theatre, the State Drama Theatre of Šiauliai, and the OKT Vilnius City Theatre, where created dozens of plays. He worked as the artistic director at State Šiauliai Drama Theatre. He is currently working as the Head of the Culture Department of Klaipėda City Municipality.

Dancer, choreographer and set designer with an international background. She holds a BA in dance from the Scottish School of Contemporary Dance, and an MA in scenography from the Latvian Academy of Arts.
In 2016, Ieva co-founded the artist duo IevaKrish with Krišjānis Sants. Together they create immersive and tacit experiences, combining choreography and scenography. Their work includes guided experiences, interactive events, dance, sound, food sharing.
